Veteran actor Mohanlal has announced his next Malayalam film, ‘Rambaan’, which will be directed by Joshiy. This marks a reunion for the actor-director duo after eight years since their blockbuster film ‘Run Baby Run’. The screenplay for ‘Rambaan’ is being penned by Chemban Vinod Jose.
The motion poster of the movie showcases Mohanlal in a mass avatar, standing with a hammer in one hand and a gun in the other. Fans are eagerly awaiting this mass entertainer, especially as Mohanlal has transformed his look for the role.
The cinematography for ‘Rambaan’ is being handled by Sameer Tahir, with music by Vishnu Vijay. The costumes are designed by Swan, makeup by Ronx Xavier, and editing by Vivek Harshan.
The shooting of the movie is set to start in mid-2024, and it is expected to hit the theaters as a Vishu release in 2025. This big-budget movie will be shot in India and abroad. It is being produced by Chembosky Motion Pictures, Einstein Media, and Nextel Studios.
This will also be a film scripted by Chemban Vinod Jose, known for his work on ‘Angamaly Diaries’ and ‘Bheemante Vzhi’. The last film that Mohanlal and Joshiy worked on together was ‘Laila O Laila’.
